Main Street Cafe

The Main Street Café is a school based enterprise operated by the Discovery Life Skills Academy. Its purpose is to provide vocational, social, and employability skills in an authentic work environment for all students across academic settings. We aim to have every student achieve as much functional independence as possible before their journey here at the Disco comes to fruition. 

Students learn and utilize vocational skills such as: stocking, counting, food preparation, technology navigation, wiping counters and tables, inventory tracking, product retrieval, and safety procedures.

Students also learn social and customer service skills which can be used every day throughout a variety of settings.
