The Academy of Health and Human Services includes pathways for students interested in serving their community and a desire to explore a future in the health sciences and human services fields. Students in this academy will become innovators and leaders, who love a challenge and want to make a positive impact on the future health and wellbeing of our diverse and complex society. Through authentic problem solving, critical thinking, community involvement, and inquiry, students will gain the knowledge, skills, and professionalism to pursue a career in sports medicine, health information technology, food and nutrition, or education. The academy is committed to the development of knowledgeable, caring, responsive, and self-directed leaders interested in bettering our community’s quality of life.
