Global Academy

The Global Academy is designed to support students from the International Transition Center (ITC) for English Language Learners and the International Newcomer Center (INC). This academy provides services to fulfill all high school graduation requirements and to inspire career interest and development.

As a college and career ready school, our ESOL Teachers create a learning community for our multilingual learners by implementing instruction with the intent to teach the English language while simultaneously teaching GCPS AKS.

Taking an Asset-Based approach, one of our goals is to activate prior knowledge, educational experiences, and personal experiences so we may utilize the rich cultures within our classrooms. The ultimate goal is for students to choose a career pathway within the academy model.
