Fine Arts Academy
The Academy of Fine Arts and Communication integrates academics with the intensive study of music, theater, dance, and media production. The pathways in this academy provide an environment for learning and creativity, which will support the developent of students' knowledge, skills and commitment necessary to work as an artist in society. Students in this academy are encouraged to showcase their creativity and passion for the arts, cross artistic boundaries, and blend processes as well as engage in the history and traditions of the arts. Students will develop their technical skills through inquiry, innovation, and invention. The Academy of Fine Arts and Communication cultivates and celebrates diversity in educating future artists. Through rehearsals, performance opportunities, real-world projects, daily instruction, and community partnerships, students will become masters of their craft and contribute to our culture with passion, creativity, intelligence and excellence.
